Butterfly Project Spa Party at Posh Nail Spa!

Let's party!
Where else can you get delicious food, mani-pedi, massage, facial and a fashion show all rolled into one cosy hideout in Taman Tun? No where! Only at an event organised by the Butterfly Project do you get all of the above in the presence of other like-minded girls as we had done at the Spa Party in June.
Pretty lasses all in a row.
Getting invited to this party was no easy feat as we had to blog or vlog about our reasons for wanting to attend. But being able to attend the event on a sunny Saturday afternoon was well worth it. Did I mention I also won a pair of Havaianas flip flops to wear to the party?

My Japanese bathrobe paired with Havaianas slippers.
50 butterfly bloggers decked in their finest bath robes flocked (fluttered?) to Posh! Nail spa in Taman Tun Dr Ismail where they were promptly greeted by the cheery smiles of the SWAT (Super Woman Admin Team) consisting of Laura, Ayna and Illy. Body Shop products and redemption coupons for the various treatments for the day were given to the bloggers to enjoy throughout the party. The entire spa was decorated in pink and purple balloons and fun and cutesy props by Tres Chic Party Planner.
Awesome party, Tres Chic!
The delicious finger food was provided by Food Friends Cafe with my favorites being the red velvet cupcakes, raspberry macaroons and the chicken sliders with beetroot buns.
Food for thought.
Like any typical blogger, photo taking was my first priority and with fellow Geisha-in-crime, Senri and our Yazuka Mama, Boss Isabel, we started snapping pictures of just about everything. Naturally, our first stop was the Fotobox instant photo box. Decorated with adorable props, we had fun taking our pictures and the best part was that we could also print our photos AND email the softcopy to ourselves on the spot! How cool is that?!
Photo-inception.

More phototaking issued before I settled into a comfortable plush seat for my pedicure. While my toes were being prettied up by Posh! Spa's beautician, Ayna drew everyone's attention with her song played on a pink ukelele.
Buy one, free one.
A complimentary face mask was given to the bloggers to take home and try, courtesy of TT Mask. In addition to that, there was also a 'Buy 1, Free 1' offer which Isabel a lot of girls took advantage of.

Facial treatments and body massages were held upstairs at the Aspen Spa Asia and was so popular that one would have wait a hour on a waiting list before it was your turn. I joined the waiting list before realizing that I was missing out on the fun downstairs and decided to forgo the massage.

A fashion show became the highlight of the event with several bloggers taking to the catwalk in Pink n Proper's latest collection. One of these pretty girls were later awarded with prizes for their efforts with Lisa walking away with the grand title of Pink n Proper's Top Model.

The lucky draw session commenced where almost everyone went home with presents that were sponsored by OnlyBeauty, Salvatore Ferragamo, Johnson & Johnson and Posh! Nail spa. Poor Boss Isabel who didn't win anything and decided to console herself with more face masks.

Like the facials and massages, the manicure stations were constantly full and unfortunately I didn't get to do my nails either. However with one more outlet in SS2 Petaling Jaya and another one (that caters to Muslim women with Halal methods and procedures) set to open up soon in Bukit Jelutong, I will probably do my nails after the Viper Challenge in August. Back at the party, I entertain myself with myself with more phototaking with Senri and Boss Isabel.
"Yes, ma'am, can I help you?"
Throughout the party, a Instagram contest and a best-dressed contest ensured that the girls were always photo-ready and dressed in their best bathrobes. A DIY bath salts station was also available for you to come up with a mixture of bath salts that you'd like. There were also chocolate and strawberry lip scrubs for purchase at the station.
Sweet lip scrubs for sale.
What kind of a party would it be if we were to leave empty-handed? Ensuring that our pampering would continue on at home, the Butterfly Project ladies and their generous sponsors have also prepared goodies bags for everyone. The adorable bag with the doggie face itself was sponsored by Pink n Proper and were filled to the brim with loads of beauty products for us to try out at home.

Undoubtedly, this party would not have been the awesome party that it was without the help of a few star-studded friends:

Thanks, all for the great fun we had. For more photos of the event, check out my album here: Butterfly Project Spa Party.
