Luminous Deepavali 2025 at the Curve

This October, the Curve invites shoppers and families to immerse themselves in the splendour of Deepavali through its festive campaign — “Luminous Deepavali: Blessings in Every Bloom, Light in Every Corner.” From 3 to 20 October 2025, the mall’s Centre Court will transform into a radiant hub of colour, culture, and community spirit, embodying the essence of the Festival of Lights.
A Celebration of Light and Unity
“Deepavali is a time of light, joy and renewal that celebrates the triumph of good over evil, as well as unity,” shared Ms Elaine Liew, General Manager of the Curve. “At the Curve, we wanted to capture this essence by offering not only vibrant festive experiences, but also meaningful opportunities for our community to come together, celebrate, and share blessings.”

Step into a Dazzling Deepavali Wonderland
At the heart of the Curve, visitors will be greeted by radiant orange arches adorned with intricate Indian-inspired motifs and shimmering lanterns. These lead to a majestic giant diya, surrounded by a vibrant kolam, colourful floral displays, and elegant peacock motifs. Overhead, a festive chandelier of paper fans and tassels adds a touch of warmth and wonder to the scene.

Complementing the décor is the Saravedi Bazaar, featuring local vendors offering everything from festive sweets and traditional sarees to accessories and home décor — a celebration of community entrepreneurship and the Curve’s continued support for SMEs.

Lighting the Way with Purpose
In the true spirit of giving, the Curve is extending its light beyond the mall through a heartfelt corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. In partnership with SKJT Ladang Edinburgh, the Curve will refurbish the school’s reading facilities, creating a mini library and reading corner. The initiative includes repainting the walls and equipping the space with new bookshelves, tables, and chairs — providing students with an inspiring and comfortable place to learn.

Shoppers can also play a part in spreading kindness through the “Kongsi Kindness” donation drive. From 3 to 20 October, a booth at the Centre Court will collect essential items such as biscuits, cooking oil, shower gels, and other daily necessities. All donations will be channelled to a selected charity home after the festivities, ensuring that the joy of Deepavali is shared with those in need.

“The Curve is proud to be more than just a shopping destination. We want to be a place where celebrations are meaningful and heartfelt,” added Ms Liew. “Through every activity, initiative, and gesture, we hope our shoppers create lasting memories while they embrace the spirit of Deepavali with us.”

Cultural Performances and Interactive Workshops
Deepavali at the Curve comes alive with an array of traditional and contemporary performances, including Bharathanatyam, Kathakali, Odissi, and Vilakku dances, as well as Bollywood and fusion showcases. Visitors can also participate in interactive workshops such as rangoli making, saree draping, henna art, laddu making, flower tying, and masala tea preparation — hands-on ways to experience the beauty and diversity of Indian heritage.
