Cherry Blossoms in teamlab Planets in Tokyo!

teamlab Planets in Toyosu is ready to welcome guests and spring with the transformation of two of its most popular installations. Known for its immersive art and state of the art visual effects, teamlab Planets takes a seasonal step towards cherry blossoms to celebrate Japan's iconic flower.

The beginning of March will see the return of spring editions of two of TeamLab Planet’s hugely popular installations: Floating in a Falling Universe of Flowers and Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People - Infinity.

In the spring version of Floating in a Falling Universe of Flowers, visitors will be immersed within a seemingly infinite space filled with endless, falling cherry blossoms. They bloom, scatter their petals, and eventually wither, endlessly continuing the cycle of life.

The installation’s flowers are created in real time using AI, so visitors experience unique moments that will never be repeated.

During the hugely popular installation Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People - Infinity, visitors enter a pool filled with colorful, moving projections of koi fish that interact with them. In the limited-time spring version of this highly-immersive installation, when the koi come into contact with people in the space, they will instantly transform into cherry blossom petals and scatter across the water’s surface.

The combination of stunning visuals and haunting music in these installations creates a truly mesmerizing and unforgettable interactive experience.

The venue’s visually stunning restaurant Vegan Ramen UZU Tokyo will also be offering a delicious, limited-edition spring ice cream flavor during March and April.

These experiences will be available from March 1 until April 30, so be sure not to miss out!
