Jelly Pong Pong Lip Frosting review

When you hear the words, Lip Frosting, what is the first thing that instantly comes to mind?

For me, it was like cake frosting except you apply it to your lips and lick it off throughout the day. Perhaps Jelly Pong Pong has something similar in mind when they came up with their Lip Frosting Lip Gloss in Irish Cream Pavlova flavour.

Courtesy of HiShop, I was given an opportunity to review this product. The packaging was simple and straight to the point with the product immediately visible. However what intrigued me about Jelly Pong Pong Lip Frost was its scent. Even before opening it up, I could already smell its sugary sweetness like bubblegum.

Several reviews have noted the lip gloss turning from orange to pink upon application and mine was no different. I applied some to my lower lip and spread it by pursing my lips together to achieve an even distribution. As a result, the tint gave my lower lip a more plump look in a pink sheen. I wore it for a dinner and the gloss stayed on until midway probably because I was drinking a lot that evening.

 

The smell becomes hardly noticeable once applied but it does stay on your fingertips for a while. I recommend getting a lip brush for application as Jelly Pong Pong Lip Frosting Lip Gloss does not come with one.

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Frost contains the following ingredients:
1) Grapeseed oil to keep lips moisturised,
2) Aloe Vera Extract for healing and anti-inflammatory properties,
3) Beewax as an antiseptic elmolient and softening agent.
4) Vitamin E for healing and anti-aging.

Overall, I like its simplicity and that it makes a whole lot of difference to my lips. Good if you are going for a more natural look with a hint of shine.
