Milo Breakfast Day 2018 Putrajaya

The  MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day Run was the only run in Putrajaya I would willingly wake up at 5am and drive myself all the way there for a 5km run. For four consecutive years, I have been doing so. But this year, I opted to walk instead and ended walking the whole 5km with Elie, a first time Milo participant.

Watch the vlog below and count how many times Elie talked about her Pokemon Go. It was only due to our friendship that I did not leave her in the dust.

Over two days, MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day Run 2018 in Putrajaya saw a massive turnout of over 46,000 people who came to participate in a variety of activities designed to create awareness on the importance of a wholesome breakfast in a fun and engaging manner.

Following a record turnout of 88,000 people across 7 locations nationwide, the MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day Run 2018 saw a collection of RM300,000 which will be contributed in the form of breakfasts to 3000 deserving families in collaboration with Food Aid Foundation.

Besides the 5km and 3km runs, participants were treated to a wholesome breakfast and MILO®, accompanied by many on-ground activities to keep runners and non-runners alike active including a parkour performance, a 3 vs 3 futsal tournament, as well as a host of activities designed to encourage participants to get active. MasterChef Malaysia’s Brian Chen or Abang Brian as he is fondly known, was on hand to demonstrate how easy and convenient it was for anyone, even children, to prepare a healthy breakfast.

Held annually since 2013, the MILO® Malaysia Breakfast Day is a key part of MILO®’s commitment to a healthier Malaysia, encouraging Malaysians to adopt healthier breakfast habits and more active lifestyles.
