So let's talk skincare. Not my area of expertise but then again, not many of us are. The products I used to handle to MCO skin woes is the Beleza by Vasayo range. This range uses Vasayo’s Advanced Liposomal Technology to deliver nutrients deep into the epidermal layer and allowing for optimal dispersion of active ingredients. The main ingredient in their products is a “liposomal” delivery system which is the encapsulation of the supplement particles into microscopic oil bubbles.
This sounds like an efficient and value for money skincare system to me. Let's see how it fared for me after a two weeks trial period. This range offers three products: Liposomal Serum, Liposomal Rejuvenating Cream and the Liposomal Hydrating Mist.
Liposomal Serum
The Beleza Liposomal Serum can used for daily day and night application. I would apply it first to prepare my face for better absorption of its other product's nutrients. It creates an environment for my skin to get the most out of the nutrients, reinforcing skin-cell recovery and its protective barriers while helping to maintain the firmness of the skin. To top it off, it also contains a blend of fensebiome and eyeseryl that promotes the presence of healthy micro-organisms within the skin, often an indicator of overall skin health.
One pump of the serum twice a day does wonders for me.
Liposomal Rejuvenating Cream
After applying the serum, next comes the rejuvenating cream. Now we all know that the skin ages due to multiple factors such as genetics, our environment and of course the lifestyles that we lead. MCO has undoubtedly shaken up these lifestyles and environment and has kinda triggered my skin with stress. Beleza claims to have a way to switch off this responsive function in its rejuvenating cream which comes formulated with reproage peptide and a high-performance blend. This mix directs skin cells to fend off the aging triggers and regenerate as younger skin does for luminous silky results.
I can't vouch for the science behind their rejuvenating cream but all I can say is my skin came out of the two weeks testing period feeling more moisturised and bouncier. Would I call it luminous and silky? Not really but at best, it does fend off dried skin and flaking which is what it's supposed to do. The creamy liquid absorbs fairly quickly into the skin, leaving none of the uncomfortable sticky feeling some creams have. My only issue is its artificial scent but then again, my nose is more sensitive than most. I can't even spent a second in Lush and essential oils make me want to sneeze something funny.
Liposomal Hydrating Mist
Finally to shield my nicely moisturised skin from enternal threats like pollution and blue-light exposure (ya know from your phone), is the hydrating mist. A simple spray after applying the earlier two products wraps up the routine nicely and leaves me feeling refreshed. Sometimes if my skin is starting to feel dry or hot in the later part of the day, I would just reapply it to refresh my face.
Ah, damn syiok on a hot day.
Understandably these products are on the pricier end although not as super pricey as some premium brands out there. The Beleza Serum cost RM680, the rejuvenating cream is RM340 and Hydrating mist is RM340. At best, I would recommend swing by their store at the end of MCO for consultation and to try out the product beforehand. Alternatively, you can opt to order it online at https://vasayo.com/
