Wow, it has been ages since I did a movie review and I am not sure I can even remember how to do it. Anyway without further ado, on to the review of Dreamworks' most highlight anticipated movie of the year, How To Train Your Dragon 2 courtesy of Nuffnang.

Jump Street Trampoline Park
Ever since I watched Step Up 3D and saw Adam Sevani and Sharni Vinson as dancers Moose and Natalie somersault into a pit of foam cubes, I have always wanted to try that. And just recently, that dream came true, thanks to the new Jump Street Trampoline Park that had opened up on 31 May 2014.
And the verdict?

Cosans Coffee Solaris Mont Kiara Grand Opening
Coffee coffee coffee!
If there is one thing I cannot get enough of (besides chocolate), that would be coffee. Just ask my colleagues. I am known as the staunch coffee-drinker in the office with my best works products of two daily cups of coffee.

Japan 2014 - Day 5: Kyoto - Arashiyama & Cat Cafe Nekokaigi
It started raining early in the morning on the day we had planned to go to the outskirts of Kyoto to visit the serene Arashiyama. But undeterred, we stuck our plan, borrowed umbrellas from Hana Hostel and caught the bus near our hostel to take to the Randen train from the Nishioji-Sanjo station (Stop A4). Spotting the little train station was tricky as we were expecting one with ticketing machines and train attendant but this stop resembled a bus stop along a set of railway tracks.
We didn't need to wait long before long the Randen train pulled up and we boarded it. The rain stopped for a while when we arrived at the Arashiyama station (Stop A14) and we were tempted to drop by the foot spa at the station platform to combat the cold weather.

Logitech Colour Collection M235 Mouse review
Having this little candy at the palm of my hand instantly makes me feel very chirpy and happy. It was just the subtle accessory I needed to brighten up my workstation which usually consists of my laptop, my headphones and my usual old fashioned wired mouse. My usual old fashioned mouse with its long wire that always comes out of my bag all tangled up.
Not only does Logitech's Colour Collection M235 Mouse come in four spunky colours (Bubble bath Red, Green Envy, Daring Diva and Blue Bliss), it is wireless too, making it handy to have especially when you need to shift workstations occasionally.

Japan 2014 - Day 4: Kyoto - Cycling Through Time
Cycling in Kyoto was a must. Or so my friend insisted. And I must say, I was glad I took her advice and did it despite not knowing my way around the city. We rented a portable wifi router to help us with the directions and loaned our bicycles from Hana Hostel Kyoto free of charge.
The Kyoto Imperial Palace was an interesting and iconic place to visit when in Kyoto and it was free. I had selected and booked the 10am tour slots for my group three months prior our visit through their website. According to the map, the palace was just up the road from our hostel and at 9am, we set out on our bicycles.

Humble Pie Co, Section 17, PJ review
With so many coffee and dessert eateries popping up all over Petaling Jaya, one is certainly spoiled for choice but when the familiar name of a well-known online dessert shop opens up in your backyard, a visit is due.
Calling out a friend, I paid a visit to the newly opened Humble Pie Co on its opening weekend, keen to try its famous Banoffee Pie. My friend was running late and to curb my hunger, I decided to grab a light brunch there and found myself staring up at the menu board behind the counter. The menu while limited at the moment in terms of food, had very interesting combinations of coffee and tea.

Goku Raku Ramen, Midvalley review
If there was a place where I could get real good authentic Japanese ramen in Kuala Lumpur, it would be Goku Raku Ramen in Midvalley Megamall. On my previous visits, I found out that this restaurant served delicious ramen that was similar to the ones in Japan, with ample toppings (a lot of char siew slices and a whole lava egg) and at affordable prices too. Needless to say, Goku Raku Remen quickly became my go-to place to curb my ramen cravings.
During an invited food review by Ivy of Food Malaysia recently, I found out why the ramen here resembled the ramen I love so much in Japan. It was because the chefs themselves were either Japanese themselves or trained in Japan for several years. I admit that besides the ramen, I wasn't familiar with their menu.
Heck, I didn't even know they had Shanghai Fried Ramen (RM13.90). Served on a hot plate and right off the fire, this dish arrived sizzling and the smell of fried noodles and vegetable immediately invaded our nostrils. The fried ramen came with a lot of fresh juicy vegetable such as bean sprout, carrots and cabbage. This would a healthier version of our chinese fried noodles and non-meat eaters will like this.

Standard Chartered Half Marathon 2014: Running for a Reason
I have a confession to make. Well, several actually.
1) I wasn't going to sign up for the Standard Chartered run (taking place 12 October 2014) in the first place
2) I have never done a half marathon in my life
3) I don't really like running. I prefer obstacle races.
4) I am pretty sure I was doped up on cough mixture when I did sign up in the end.
My first half marathon was supposed to be at the Malaysian Women's Marathon run in March 2014 but due to the haze, I ended up cutting the distance by half for health sake. After that, the thought of having to retrain myself and go through the running part again grounded me to the lazy sofa once more. And my running shoes hasn't seen daylight since.
Then the Standard Chartered KL Marathon registration rolled up and everyone I know seemed to be joining it. It was THE race to run and my initial thought was 'pfft. I am not going to run in a sea of thousands of people in KL!" I joined the 10km last year and the heat nearly did me in. But somewhere along the line, I realized that if I was to complete my first full marathon next year, I had be able to run at least 21km and still walk back to the car after that.
