Yes, the individual registration for all categories at Standard Chartered Kuala Lumpur Marathon 2017 has indeed sold out in just three days like hot cakes...again...
BUT did you know that you have two other options if you really really want to sign up for SCKLM?
OPTION 1 - Corporate Challenge category.
The Corporate Challenge category is a a 10 km competitive yet fun platform for companies to register and compete as a corporate team and raise money for charities. So drag along your colleagues, sweet talk your boss into paying for it and sign up for this category WHILE also doing some good for a cause. More info here.
OPTION 2 - Run for a Reason
A cause close to my heart because I tackled my first half marathon while running for a Reason on behalf of Malaysian Nature Society at SCKLM 2014 (recap). I would strongly encourage anyone to join this category because not only will you get a chance in Kuala Lumpur's biggest running event, but also because you will be contributing to charities in need.
This year the participating beneficiaries are the Standard Chartered Foundation, National Cancer Society of Malaysia, Dignity for Children Foundation and Hospis Malaysia.
