Not One But Two Don Don Donki to Open in Malaysia by 2021?!!!

So yes, everyone is hyped up about Don Don Donki coming to Malaysia for the first time and right smack in the middle of Kuala Lumpur.  But...it seems that, Don Quijote isn't just opening up one outlet in Malaysia but rather TWO outlets.

BE STILL MY HEART AND GOODBYE MONEY.

According to a press statement by YTL Land, Don Don Donki at Lot 10 will be opening by early 2021. The street-fronting store will take up three floors and will anchor the brand new entrance of Lot 10 which will be completed by the last quarter of 2020. Aka, the former Zara lot will now be the main entrance which makes more sense than the entrance next to Isetan which no one notices. If anything, the H&M entrance is much more noticeable (I work nearby la, so I notice these things)

The new entrance will greet shoppers exiting directly from the Bukit Bintang MRT station fronting the mall. Fingers cross they will consider building a link directly into the food court from the MRT. Because hello, that's what Japan does.

Now on to the second juicy Donki news - They are also opening a second outlet in...Tropicana Gardens Mall. Wait, what?? Not Midvalley Gardens Mall? Based on the press release by Don Quijote's Japan HQ, the second outlet will open in mid 2021 in Tropicana Gardens Mall, located in central Kota Damansara, just down the road from Malaysians' beloved Ikea. The mall is also attached to Surian MRT making it a convenient stop by MRT train. You can literally just ding-dong between the two Donki outlets if you want to via train.

Can we just press skip on 2020 and fast forward to 2021 already? Because I am kind, I won't leave you with the Donki theme song again but rather a glimpse of what Donki has to offer.
