Japan's Don Quijote is finally Opening in Malaysia at Lot 10, Kuala Lumpur

Any Japan fanatic would know the big threes must visit shops when in Japan - Daiso, Yodobashi and of course, Don Quijote aka Don Don Donki outside of Japan. To the uniniated, allow me to introduce you to their theme song which plays on repeat in their stores nationwide!

If the song is stuck in your head for days, YOU'RE WELCOME because this will be the song greeting you at their first soon-to-open outlet in Malaysia. Rumour from various sources (KL Foodie and Klook citing China Press) claim the flagship outlet of Donki Donki will open at Lot 10, Bukit Bintang.

Oh my stars, so near my office! RIP purse T_T

There are over 160 stores in Japan alone, all stocked with discounted Japanese snacks, food, clothing, groceries, beauty stuff, household appliances, shoes, underwear, figurines, toys, travel gear and sex toys. You read that right. SEX TOYS.

Oh oh and the best thing about Donki...FREE WIFI. If you're ever lost or in need to contact your friend who had abandoned you, Donki has free wifi. Also their roasted sweet potato (only JYP98) is super good. Just random stuff.

If you spend over JYP5000 in Donki Japan, you can get everything tax free making it the best place to buy souvenirs at one go. You can even get Ichiran Ramen's instant noodles there! Needless to say, you can spend hours there...as I have done many many times. Some Don Quijote are even 24 hours making it the perfect place for last minute or early morning shopping. Once again, speaking from experience.

I have even walked out of Donki Quijote with a newly purchased Pikachu suitcase to pack all my purchases into it for the flight back.

So to hear that it's opening so nearby ot my office, well, guess who will there for the official launch whether or not I am invited or not. Hello, Don Quijote PR people, call me!
