My current iPhone 4Gs has lasted approximately 5 years and it didn't surprise me when the battery drained fast and dies on me even at 40%. It was infuriating though as I need my phone for work or even to waze while on the go. Even when all I wanted to do was take a picture, the battery would just die on me. 

Well, enough was enough. 

At the constant bugging of a colleague, I finally succumbed and agreed to replace the battery since I was too broke to buy a new phone.

One fine day, she introduced me to iPhoneFix at Centerpoint Bandar Utama. As soon as we entered the place, the big boss asked us what were the symptoms of our phones, quickly listing down my current phone problems to which I nodded to.

Naughty Babe Dirty Duck restaurant, Bangsar review

I was hungry, naughty and ready to get down right dirty. And Naughty Babe Dirty Duck in Jalan Telawi 2, Bangsar was just the dining place to suit my mood that night for dinner.  As expected of a place with the words babe and duck in it, whimsical pig and duck decorations were aplenty in the restaurant.

Under the delusion that we needed to balance the rich meal ahead with some greens, we ordered their Wildest Rocket salad. Wild rocket leaves were my favourite so I enjoyed this delicious healthy dish very much. With a mix of pomegranate for crunch, crispy turkey ham, a generous shaving of parmigiana and a drizzle of honey lime dressing, this salad was a combination of sweet, savoury and sour.

Inov-8 Roclite 280 trail shoes review

I got a new pair of Inov-8 trail shoes for my birthday last month and I am super excited to review it! Since starting OCR, I've only heard good things about the brand and have been on the lookout for a pair for myself. However unlike Reebok and New Balance, Inov-8 aren't sold everywhere except at Key Performance outlets.

My first pair of Inov-8 is the roclite™ 280 in black and pink.

According to the brand website: The roclite™ 280 is a great value all round off-road training shoe. This highly cushioned and lightweight model offers excellent levels of upper durability and protection. Featuring inov-8's on-the-shoe gaiter pockets, so the inov-8 race ultra™ gaiter can be attached and all debris kept at bay.

So after a month of testing it at bootcamp, on the trail and at a few Spartan training sessions, here's my verdict.

Little Italy Pasta & Pizza Corner, Kota Kinabaru review

Now if there was one place that kept popping up frequently whenever I googled 'where to eat in Kota Kinabalu' it would be Little Italy restaurant. Located right behind Gaya Center Hotel, Little Italy was easily within walking distance of the pier and quite a popular eatery amongst tourists.

We were there at 1130am and just after we were seated, the place quickly filled up with foreigners. The interior boast a rustic feel with arch windows and doors that mimics its Italian roots.

Spartan Race Singapore Giveaway

Harloooo, people!

In November, I'll be heading to Singapore to take part in the Spartan Race Singapore! This is the first time Spartan Race will be held in Singapore and also Malaysia! I've blogged about Malaysia's Spartan Race already which you can read about it here.

The Spartan Race has been major factor in my life this year as I am pursuing the elusive Trifecta medal so joining Spartan Race Singapore Sprint only seemed like the natural thing to do. I've been training and dieting my ass off for my races and after a year or so, I think I can ready to conquer that damn rope climb obstacle! Yeh!
