I am back at last with yet another Viper Arena video. Viper Arena has quickly become one of my staple OCR events since it started because it's a quick course of 5-7km, dry and often less than 30 minutes drive away. The recent race in Bukit Jalil stadium was no different with a mix of old, improved and new obstacles.
You can see for yourself.
Were you at the event? If you were, leave a comment and follow me for more OCR "fun". Next up...SPARTAN KUCHING!

Nest Hotel Kumamoto review
My initial plan was actually to stay overnight in Takachiho, Miyazaki before heading to Kumamoto. But a month before the trip, I got a message from the host saying that due to unforeseen circumstances, he was unable to accommodate my group for our dates. So with a heavy heart, I cancelled my booking at his place. Anywhere else in Takachiho would have been too pricey and so I decided to change my plans and stay an extra night at Kumamoto.

Catch Two World Coffee Champions at Roastedly, Malaysia Coffee Fest 2019
I feel that people often underestimate the importance of a good cup of coffee in the morning. Ask anyone in my (tiny) circle of friends and family and they will tell you that I am a snappish being from hell before I have my coffee. Fortunately though, I am not crazy picky about where I get my coffee. Be it from beans, 3-in-1 or via drip, I am totally fine as long as it's good, has a caffeine kick, and I get it before 10am. Otherwise all hell will break loose.
Anyway, if you're a staunch coffee drinker and want to learn more about coffee, the Malaysia Coffee Fest 2019 is currently underway at 1 Utama Shopping Mall. There you can learn how to extract the best brews out of your coffee beans from Malaysia’s very own national and international coffee champions – Regine Wai and Jason Loo.

Taste Australia Premium Avocado in Season
Behold the fruit once blamed for causing the current generation's incapability to own a house. The mighty avocado! Okay, guys. We all know the durian has dethroned the avocado for that role given how people are going ga-ga over durian lately but nevertheless unlike the durian, the avocado does have its nutritious benefits.

Riding Japan’s Smallest Horse
This article was first published on Unlock Japan on 5 May 2019 (link)
While a part of Japan, Okinawa has always been a unique prefecture with an unusual history that dates back to the Ryukyu Kingdom. Made up of a sub-tropical chain of 160 islands at the southernmost tip of Japan, Okinawa not only has a colourful cultural blend of Chinese and Japanese but is also home to the smallest and rarest horse breed in the entire nation.
