Food Review: Tealive x Walls Bobalicious Ice Cream - Genius or Meh?

Who here is as crazy about Boba tea as I am? While the boba craze may have come and gone and come and gone again, I will always say that Tealive is easily one of my go-to bubble tea brands. It's certainly more reasonable than many boba brands and easily available in malls and at petrol stations.

So when it was announced that Tealive would be collaborating with my childhood ice-cream brand, Walls, of course I couldn't resist heading out to the nearest 7-Eleven to buy a stick or two...or four of the new Walls x Tealive Bobalicious ice-cream.

Scoot Resumes Flights to Kuching, Ipoh and Penang

Scoot, the low-cost arm of Singapore Airlines (SIA), is resuming flights to three destinations in Malaysia, namely Kuching, Ipoh and Penang. The first flight to Kuching since 20 March 2020 took to the skies on 5 June 2020, with flights to Ipoh and Penang scheduled on 12 and 14 June 2020 respectively.

In line with the announcement, Scoot has also implemented several measures to safeguard the health of its customers and crew. As Scoot resumes more flights in June 2020 and Singapore Changi Airport prepares to resume passenger transit operations in the same month[1], Scoot will be further enhancing its operational procedures and introducing additional precautionary measures to allow customers to travel with even greater confidence.

I think one of my best memories of travelling was the time I cycled 21km around Kyoto on a rented bike. I cycled from my hostel (Hana Hostel) near Kyoto Station to the Imperial Palace where we took a free tour in English then onto Kitano Temangu Shrine for their monthly bazaar and then to the Golden Pavillion. It was perhaps the most memorable day of that entire trip. 

So if anyone were to ask me if they should cycle, walk or rent a car to explore a place, I would say - just cycle. You get the best experience of walking and being on two wheels.

Performance
The realme X3 SuperZoom performance has been upgraded with octa-core Snapdragon 855 Plus featuring a 7nm processor and Adreno 640 GPU. It allows the processor to work 15% faster in terms of graphics rendering compared to the Snapdragon 855. Apart from that, It is equipped with the newly upgraded liquid cooling system which has 100% full coverage on the core heating source and lowers its temperature to maintain the performance and speed.

Camera 

realme X3 SuperZoom features a 64MP Quad Camera with 60x SuperZoom, consisting of a 64MP main camera, an 8MP 5x periscope telephoto lens, 8MP ultra wide-angle, and a macro lens. The 64MP Quad Camera setup allows photography lovers the ability to capture different moments and bigger stories with just a single tap on the device. 

The 60x SuperZoom enables users to take pictures of buildings within 15 kilometers around you. It will also optimize the texture to improve the clarity of the pictures you have captured, from 0.5 to 60 times. In terms of camera modes, it comes with the newly upgraded Nightscape 4.0(Pro Mode) allowing users to adjust ISO, WB, shutter speed and focus distance manually. Compared to normal Pro Mode, Nightscape Pro Mode applies a 10+ multi-frame algorithm to significantly improve image quality. Users can now take night shots with special effects such as light tracks taken by long exposure.

Users can also now capture photos of stars with realme’s latest Starry Mode. It utilises an AI algorithm combined with ultra-long exposure and multi- frame synthesis to intelligently enhance sharpness and brightness of stars, giving you professional starry photos.


Both front cameras also support HDR and super portrait Nightscape Selfie as well as ultra wide-angle video shooting with UIS Video Stabilization.

Display
realme X3 SuperZoom contains a 6.6-inch 120Hz Ultra Smooth Display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is capable of producing 120 frames per second, the 120Hz display has a 100% higher refresh rate when compared to a conventional 60Hz display, resulting in a seamless and smooth visual experience with every swipe of the screen.

Battery
In terms of battery life, realme X3 SuperZoom is equipped with a 4200 mAh battery and 30W dart charge. It takes only 55mins for the battery to be fully charged and even during heavy gaming, it can charge more than 60% in an hour.
